My 3 motiv benchmark balls are the jackal ghost, the alpha jackal, venom shock but I bowl the second squad of the night on the burn on old wood lanes . Thank you this video is definitely my favorite video on the arsenal like the benchmark balls.

If my 'benchmark' ball is the FIRST ball out of my bag, that would be my Pitch Black. It is normally this way because I start off fast and I need a few frames to settle down. I use a Phaze 2 for the middle of the bag and I will ball up to a Black Widow 3.0 or ball down to a Black Venom as needed. The Pitch Black is intended to be my spare ball. I have a couple of pearl options, but I only bring 4 balls to league.

I use The One Encore as my benchmark ball.. Probably one of the most consistent balls I’ve thrown..

I want to say my venom coral is mine even when I threw it 14 miles and hour I loved it and now I throw it 16 and a half and i still love it I throw higher games with it and is most times first ball out of my bag. I'm a 2 hander with around 450 to 500 rev rate

Venom Shock or Jackal Ghost. Depends on the house. If those are too strong or uncontrollable, I’ll move to Crimson Jackal or Pride Dynasty

Hey Andrew, I’ve heard you say you give lessons. Your instructional videos have helped me a lot and the way you explain it really clicks a lot better with me. How would I go about getting lessons with you by chance?

Good video. Also, why do you think scoring was up last year on the PBA tour?

For cleaners and ball maintenance try some of the creating the difference stuff. My dad has an old taboo jet black since 2012 and it hasn't been thrown since and I have been using creating the difference (ctd) so fresh so clean. Spray it on your reactive balls wait 30 seconds and a chemical called tacifier is put in the ball to replace the plasticizer and make the ball last longer and the ctd trucut grits last anywhere from 3-6 games.

This is probably going to annoy the diehard Motiv fans, but I am genuinely trying to figure this ball out, so I thought I would ask it here. I just finished my 50th game with my Venom Black, which I purchased on 7/12/24. The pro shop I bought it from is 2 hours away, so it's not easy to visit. Out of box, it had a little bit of hook, but that went away quickly. I have tried 2k, 3k, and 4k finishes. I've tried Hook Monster. I have thrown from 9-20 mph (read at the pins) left-handed and from 1st arrow on the left to 3rd on the right, low tilt, or underhanded (which the PSO said to throw it). For the life of me, I can not figure this ball out. It's squirrelly at best. It typically just goes through the face of the pins and is sort of a straight ball until it decides to squirrel over a few boards. I've even seen it wobble, too. I've gotten some really strange splits and oil patterns. I can't explain them. The layout is 58 x 3 ½ x 53 with a PAP of 4.5 left x 1 7/8 up. I've tried a 3, 4, and 5 step approach. The pro shop operator just says to keep practicing or throw it better. That doesn't really help. I have a top score of 153 for one game. The next was 127. But the average is 98. In comparison, all of my other ball averages are in the 150-198 range. Those are different brands, though. I was really excited to get this ball, being my first Motiv and being the Venom Black, but now not so much. Also, I do try to keep my thumb straight and not grip the Vise inserts. I've also tried tape inside the thumb as well as release tape. Nothing is working. Any helpful advice would greatly be appreciated as I am trying my best to stay positive. But this has never happened before, so I'm lost.
UPDATE:
U.S.B.C. got rid of the coach locator program back in 2020 due to "continuous updating of the security protocol, " whatever that means.
As for my Venom Black, I took the advice of another YT PSO who said that he prefers his ball polished. So, I polished it this morning and took it out tonight. I only scored 161, and the ball doesn't hook at all, but it finally has a predictable and controllable motion that I can live with. I was about to give up and sell it, but I think I'll keep trying with it. I do understand that I still need lessons, and I'm still on the lookout for a local coach. In the meantime, I'm looking at online coaches as some of you advised. Thank you for the help. I appreciate everyone who offered their input, and I will take every measure that I can to follow them.

Never change my grips, so half of infinite is still infinite, means, no cleaning, yay
