SHE-HULK Episode 5: Review & Breakdown

We're now past the half-way mark, with Episode 5/9 of She-Hulk being released this morning. Is it any better? No. Are we still watching because we want to see Daredevil? Yeah, mostly.
In this video, I’ll give you guys a brief, spoiler-free review of this fifth episode, and then recap/review the episode bit by bit.
Do y'all think this show is a breath of fresh air, or is it just as "grating" as any of Jen's bad dates? Was that teaser at the end enough to excite you, or are you just watching to "see what happens?"

I wouldn’t call She-Hulk a show written by middle-schoolers as I would call it a concoction by wine-moms trying to appeal to middle-schoolers, and utterly failing at it too on top of getting the character absolutely wrong.

5 episodes in and I still can’t figure out where we’re going!

Who’s the main villain?
Is it gonna be Abomination?
Is it Titania?
Is it the wreaking crew?
Is the wreaking crew returning to the show?
What exactly is Jen’s story arc?

I doubt writers will be able to wrap this up. The entire series has been filler at this point 🙄

I was traumatised and desperate caused by situation in Hong Kong that you might have known from the news. Marvel, especially performance of Elizabeth Olsen, was the reason and motivation that I have to keep going. It was heartbreaking to see our favourite franchise ruined by few ignorant, arrogant and unprofessional “writers “.

It's amazing that it took 5 episodes to get to this point...which is essentially where we were episode 1. This series would have more continuity if they had a different writer each episode who are all complete strangers🤪

“You can literally have super powers and men think they can do better” well if you have super powers but you look like Lizzo, that’s definitely gonna be a hard pass for most men. Also having super powers doesn’t automatically mean you’re a good person or fun to be around. Personality matters for both men and women.

Actually Jens lawyer Mallory is the real strong independent woman to watch out for. 😂 She puts Jen in check by telling her "they aren't colleagues" because she has to clean up Jens mess when jenn is supposed to be a grown adult female lawyer of success herself. Than proceeds to remind Jen she dresses like a child and needs the proper attire to gain the respect she desires. Mallory is the real MVP

Came across your review and I will write, I appreciate your sacrifice of sanity and patience for a show that out right turned me off from the gecko, the moment they changed Jen's origins into She-Hulk from a tense, life & death situation born from Banner being hunted and forced to save her life, to flip it around and have it be a stupid car accident. And then the twerking from around the world occurred, and that was clear enough to me that this show is absolute, overheated leftovers of Marvel's talent pool and not the good kind too. And there's more than 6 episodes? It just torture at this point for how unfunny and amateurishly sitcom-ish the show seems to come across in the bits I've seen by chance.
