7800X3D isn’t without its faults. I have both a build with a 14900k and a 7800X3D in the other and have faces issues on both PCs that are commonplace. But both perform amazing well, too. My advice, get either one but make sure you have knowledge of common issues and their solutions prior to paying for anything.

I like not having favorites like I change from intel to amd and I was about to change back to intel for the new gen but amd coming with something even stronger

I got a 14900ks, but I got it for less than half price because I have a buddy who works for Intel, so I figured I'm paying less than everyone else is paying for a 14700k, might as well get the top tier one and see how it goes. I won't be significantly overclocking it, so hopefully it's pretty stable. But I'm upgrading from a rig with a 6700k, so I'm pretty sure I'll be satisfied with an 8 generation upgrade either way.

13/14th gen intel CPU's are unstable and intel is refusing to fix it. Just go AMD like every other normal person.

I've been running I9 13900k since late 2022 no issues whatsoever.

(I have had it for about a year now, but I play almost everyday for about 4 hours at least)

I have an i5-9600k @4.7Ghz and GPU is rx5500xt 4gb vram. 32gb ddr4 ram @3000mhz and 550watt psu. I really wanna upgrade my CPU due to the games I play being cpu intensive

i was in this predicament, oc r5 3600 with decent cooling holding back frames, do I go ryzen 7000, or lga 1700, didn’t want to commit to expensive ddr5 and exp mobos, ddr4 i5 13400 with mobo
