As a dortmund fan, I’m so happy to see him home. We need people that really play for the badge and want success, and he’s one of them. Hope he will stay after the 6 months, Heja BVB

He has been at the highest level for so many years now you would expect him to be 25 by now but he is only 23, still has a long way to go in his career

Imagine if Sancho goes back to his peak form immediately, then Dortmund buy him in the summer and he stays and becomes a legend there [like Reus etc]. As a United fan I would love to see a redemption arc for him...

Just to add, ETH has publicly mentioned Rashford’s lateness, Antony’s lack of output and Maguire’s form. It’s not just Sancho, ETH calls it as he sees it.

ETH also shielded Sancho for 3/4 months last season, giving him a break from football to work on those mental health issues. He tried the “arm around the shoulder” support and it didn’t work.

Man United fans complain there’s too much Player Power over the manager, but then everyone moans when the manager actually calls the players out and reclaims that power. There’s issues with ETH but I don’t think this is one of them.

I had a lot of love for Sancho, and the talent is there for everyone to see, but it’s hard to sympathise with someone when they can’t even arrive on time for work regularly, like the rest of us have to do for 100 times less money.

Hopefully his mentality gets sorted and he’ll show everyone what he’s capable of consistently.

I'm a United fan and I always feel bad for our players when they don't succeed but you have to also look at this as a two way thing. Ten Haag shouldn't have said that about Sancho but also he didn't say all that out of spite. Matic said it himself and look at him also in Man City and Dortmund. At the biggest clubs in the world there is a standard and you have to work for it. I look at players like Lingard and Pogba and then i look at other players who have broken out to the first team like Mainoo and Rashford, they showed they needed and wanted it that's what a manager wants. So if Sancho doesn't put his head down and put in work he'll never recover. As a football fan he is a generational talent and i want him to succeed but he won't do it if he continues like this.

Behavior/unprofessionalism issues at City, Dortmund and United. Why are people acting like he is the victim in this?

Sancho was not alienated at United because of his lack of talent, but due to his attitude and commitment. And he's not the only one to receive such criticism from the manager. Unlike others, his response was poor. If he works on his character, he will definitely succeed as he is unquestionably talented.

If Sancho goes crazy the scenes would be mad

Ten Hag has had to be utterly ruthless. Player power has ruled the club since Mourinho was fired. That must change because these players arent performing to the levels the fans expect.

I side with Ten Hag Sancho has always had a poor work ethic and the only time the player is sided over the manager is when your performing and even when he was on the pitch he was not good enough. So I completely side with Ten Hag.

How Jadon Sancho fares on his return to Borussia Dortmund is down to the player and whether he decides he wants to be committed and get his career back on track or continues going downhill in the way in which he did at Manchester United. There were lot of factors as to why his move to Manchester United just never worked out as yes they’re a graveyard football club and the environment around this team is so toxic the player has some responsibility in the way he wasted his career. Jadon Sancho isn’t the only player that forgot how to play football after going to Manchester United, it’s happened with a lot of players recently he also has to shoulder some blame for the way he handled his situation.

Some of his issues at Manchester United were down to the attitude, the poor work ethic in training leading him to be dropped from the squad and instead of apologizing to Erik ten Hag, he decided not to play him and the player didn’t play he was comfortable in collecting his wages, not doing anything and enjoyed playing video games at home all day. I also think that both the player and manager never sorted out their problems and you can see why every manager that has walked into the Manchester United dressing room, something has to happen every season from the Ronaldo situation to Sancho’s public fall out and tweet, Manchester United are making themselves look like a joke and Erik ten Hag’s man management isn’t fixing things. He’s only played 76 minutes of football this season and now he’s back on Borussia Dortmund where he has another chance in a career revival because if he doesn’t get his form back there’s a fear that United won’t be able to offload him as no team would be interested in signing him. That’s the situation that he put himself in with his attitude and he’s 23 years old and with his return to Borussia Dortmund, he hopes that he can play more and find his level again and that’ll be an insult to Manchester United if this actually happens. He doesn’t kick a ball for months and then back at a club where he was successful he produces the goods again and hopefully he learns how to play football again at Borussia Dortmund.

This is so sanchos fault, you can't blame ten hag when he gave him so much time and sympathy last season and all he expected from sancho was some maturity and an apology

Everyone that comments on this saga seems to forget that Ten Hag actually shielded Sancho from the crazy pressure of the man United spotlight and the drain that had on his mental health.

Imagine encouraging your player to move abroad to train by yourself, work with the best sports psychologists and get your head straight without the daily pressure of being a young, promising footballer in one of the biggest clubs in the world (all without missing a paycheck!) and people call you out and say, “you should’ve put an arm around him Erik. You shouldn’t put players down like that”

I just reckon 95% of the blame here falls on Sancho
