I can't thank you enough! I've been spending ages trying to find a clip like this. People in my school which are doing foundation science had the opportunity to go to this workshop in which they had someone go through how to answer each question with them. However, we didn't have this opportunity. You're a life saver.

how come, for question 1c about why different compounds separate in a gas chromatography column, you can't put that they have different relative atomic masses??

For the one about the oxygen diagram on 7bii, i just want to make sure that if you are two electrons away from a full outer shell, there is two pairs, and if there is 3 away from a full outer shell, then there is 3 pairs and so on

In question 4a (ii) I thought hydrogen would form as it's the less reactive element? Sorry I'm just a bit confused I've got my exam next week!
