dude this reminds me of the first new years i spent drinking. I grabbed a handle of gas station vodka and went to the party and they had no mixer! The only thing they had close was some Pepsi. so I got trashed on vodka pepsi, and eventually threw some champagne in as well. I spewed from both ends that night. Can't look at pepsi the same way anymore.

While people always go on about how he original Coca Cola had cocaine (such a small amount that you’d have to down like a whole gallon to get a single bump’s worth, ingested orally so the effects are even weaker), they always forget that it was “French Wine Coca”. Coke’s original recipe did intend for it to be a wine-based “medicinal” cocktail, so it’s not surprising it mixes alright with wines.

Jamaicans have a flavor called Champagne cola. Been a flavor for years. Closest I could find to its flavor in mainstream markets is Faygo Rock & Rye. Give it a shot. It's a good mixer.

I worked at Gleneagles in Scotland, owned by Diagio at the time. Diagio owns more spirit brands than you can imagine. I worked the VIP marquee that was gorgeous and built from the ground up solely for very important clients to hobnob during the Johnny Walker Championship. It was an open bar with beyond top shelf spirits. The most offensive drink I had to make someone was a Johnny Walker Gold and Coke. He wanted it simply because he could. I'm surprised he didn't go with Blue honestly 😂
