I moved from the iPhone X to the XS Max against the advice of basically every reviewer out there and your breakdown of all of the small yet noticeable upgrades (Smart HDR, Dual Mics, A12 Chip, Bigger Battery) etc made me realise that the upgrade has actually been quite underrated as it has been overshadowed by the lack of a monumental redesign which the iPhone X brought last year.

I feel very happy to have upgraded and I love the way you do three-way ties in order to cater to every viewer's preferences. Since I was 12 years old, I've watched your videos and the format is still familiar which I highly respect. For perspective, I'm now 21 and got my first iPhone 3G when I was 12, followed a year later by an iPhone 4.

Merry Christmas, Mike and I look forward to my 10th year of watching your content in 2019!

To be honest the 6.5 inch display on the iPhone doesn't *really* count as the largest display since it has severely rounded corners and a huge notch. Diagonally, sure it's the largest but it has less usable area than the note 9 does.

I didn’t see the value in the XS Max from my XR, but I am totally envious of the Pixel 3 XL Night Sight. That is stunning.

My previous phone was the Galaxy S8+ and bought an iPhone XS because I never had Apple. I'm so impressed by everything especially the battery because it's almost half the size of the S8+ and I was worried I was gonna be charging constantly, but a full charge easily gets me through the day.

I ended up buying the iPhone XS Max the other week, the only thing stopping me from buying the XR was purely the screen, not the PPI though but the black borders on the left and right of the screen, I hated it in person so chose the XS Max, the regular XS is too small imo.

Samsung always make the best displays but I don't like the curved screen. It causes glare on top edge while watching videos under bright ceiling light

The Note 9 takes my heart.. I think it's gorgeous, it has so many features, great screen, headphone jack, huge battery.. the colors.. I just love Samsung in general 🙏🏾😊

I have all three of Mike's top three. I carry two phones and that is the Pixel 3 XL and iPhone XS Max. Occasionally switch back and forth between One Plus 6T and Note 9, but always end up going back to the original two. So far best award show I've seen, even better than MKBHD's which I totally didn't agree with the results. Congrats! Putting my SIM back in my Pixel as we speak!
