I love the way JP's aura of arrogance and condescension just dissipates when he's confronted with a heavy weight like Matt Dillahunty. JP knows he can't get away with his bully tactics when debating someone of Matt's capability.

We don't even know if the laws of physics are deterministic, we suspect they are not, but there may be underlying chaos at work that we are unable to observe at our scale. Free will is the ability to go back and forth in time. Except that that is NOT a vestige of "religious behaviour". We encounter something we don't like - we vent. That's it. In venting, we don't make assumptions about the thing we are venting against - venting is about OURSELVES. It's just a slightly more advanced and less automatic knee-jerk.

Peterson obviously finds himself fascinating...unfortunately he is clearly a confused 'thinker' who struggles to explain himself to himself or anybody else! Dillahunty has to explain things to JP like a Dad talking to an uppity teenager.
