Small earthworm like baby snake in my house - World's smallest snake in house

Baby of a tiny-small breed of snake in house in monsoons. It could have been easily mistaken as earthworm but in fact it is world's smallest breed of snakes in my house.

These small snakes live in garden and eat tiny insects. Key distinguishing point from earthworms are two: 1) this small snake wiggles its tongue (white in colour) 2) it can raise its head while earthworms cant as they don't have spine.

Unbelievable!! World's smallest species of snake in my house and I picked it up with a tooth pick!!

Literally everyone just saw and came to search whether it's a snake or worm 😂

If you find some snakes like that in your house be careful, There must be a hidden hole in some corner or up the ceiling where its mother lays eggs. Just like what I discovered in our house.

This is a brahminy blind snake.. it's harmless and don't bite. It actually helps your house plants since it only eats small ants and termites. If you see it next time don't kill .

Let it be, it's harmless snake. It's non-venomous and is so small that it can't even bite. Please let is be, and it's a very fascinating little snake. Also the one here is an adult. They are very small!

Why did you mash it?? The slender head indicates it is not a poisonous snake. I found one in my yard today, in NW Georgia. Thought it was a worm, was going to pick it up & move it to a shaded area so it could go into the moist dirt. It went crazy, & when it moved away from me, it moved from side-to-side like a snake. I left it in the grass, then came in to try to find out what it was. Glad I didn't hurt it. The one in my yard was an Eastern Worm Snake. They burrow into soft earth, or under leaf cover, & eat worms, termites, & ants.

Poor thing, there was no need to hurt it, I found one earlier, all I did was admire it and let it go from where I found it.
