I loved how she spoke about her parents. Cultural baggage is very complicated, I’m also a Russian Jewish girl, I totally get her. I liked how she said, that her parents don’t need to be crazy in love with drag, it’s the unconditional love and acceptance that she appreciates in them, and that is so beautiful — nobody’s pressuring anybody, but there’s love and respect!
