Today i'm re-making my most viewed video of all time! This is How To Vectorize Anything Using Illustrator V.2! The original version was ok but I really wanted to take it to the next level by not only explaining things more clearly, but also approaching the entire video in a way everyone can understand. We will take a real life photo of an axe and turn it into a vector graphic/image using some illustrator cc tools. Have fun turning all your iphone photos into vector graphics 😀

Thank you for taking the time to share. This was incredibly helpful for an analogous artist to start considering working between analogue and digital. Thank you. Be safe. Regards.

Thank you man! Finally I understand... I'm setting up a business with a friend of mine and cutting vinyl is what is all about. This was really well made man. Thanks again.

Mine is not doing what yours is doing. It isn't cutting the image out in white, and when I make the mask it doesn't show my selected image on a white background like yours.

I think you are being too hard on yourself, Charley !!!! Yes! Your new startup/Intro is really nice I must admit. I learn so much from you - like all contributors to You Tube- and these tutorials are such an aid to learning. I am externally grateful and keep up the good work. You are really easy to watch and your demonstrations are great. Thanks. Pete

Thank you for this. I learned how to vectorize images back in the mid 2000s. It took me forever! Alas, I fell off because of all the time it took to get it done. (I was too focused on the details.) Doing it this way looks like it will be much faster and efficient. 👍🏾

Thank you for explaining that everything made in illustrator is a vector. Nice to know I was already on the right track!

I am interested in preserving the photo aspect of the object. How do I make a real photo that can be enlarged to like 10x15 feet size. I liked the video by the way.

Good job Charley - btw the first one was great too, I remember it so well; was the first video of you that I've seen and I've been a fan ever since. Couldn't understand the rudeness of a tiny few idiots commenting back then. You know what you're doing, so rock on!
