These guys r just smashin it, Steve looking like a rock god, Joe with an excellent vocal display, and sporting a well crafted mullet!

I swear, this is the ONLY 80's band that can actually sing! They can actually keep up with their own music as they're bouncing around on the stage. You can always tell which band was legit once you heard them in a live concert. This is one of them!

Arguably DL at their absolute peak. Love the early French/German gigs pre 'Hysteria' but this gig is mind blowing. That creme LP Custom, triple humbucker with Kahler is imo the best guitar I will ever see. That Gibson never did a run is a stain on the various managements that have been in charge - for Gods sake they did a Tommy Thayer run? I mean what TF?

This gig stands out among the MANY they did during this tour and arguably 'why' this gig was selected by the band for 'official' release. "The Riffmaster" just blows the entire stadium apart. Given he was the primary song writer, created some of the most complicated, melodic, harmonic chords, hooks, bends and riffing that are impossible to replicate, even Viv as beast of a guitarist he is still today admits humbly he cannot play several of the songs Steve played here - and again Viv is a true icon. But his playing was extremely different - Steve oozed cool, his right hand especially, like his icon Page was 'so' loose.

It's extremely hard to do what both Steve and Phil did, they never actually really played the 'same' notes together or the same, they really were the ultimate dual guitar players.

Steve's performance brings mixed feelings - on the one hand we all as fans get to see how truly gifted he was, and his stage persona which was genuine rock star - yet it also reminds we fans of this true genius what a loss his death remains in 2023.

Fact is - this band has NEVER achieved the same success music wise since Steve died. Given he was responsible for 90% of their music that is so obvious. Sure DL have produced some 'solid' material since Steve died but no where near what they gave when Steve was alive.

I truly envy anyone who got to see this genius live. His loss remains incalculable.

i feel like this was one of their last pure ROCK songs. don’t get me wrong, Hysteria has some rockers for sure but the sheer energy and passion in this song just TO ME doesn’t feel like it’s there for Hysteria. Great album tho, i love hysteria probably my favorite Leppard album.
