Slash/Back is a new feature film that was shot entirely in Pangnirtung, Nunavut, a fly-in community of 1,500 people on the eastern shore of Baffin Island.

It tells the story of four Inuit young women who have to band together to stop an alien invasion.

Im as cynical and harsh a critic as you can find with the last decade of female empowerment film writing with agendas, that being said, you cant help but like this film. Great acting, great overall presentation. I would most certainly call it a classic, and hope to see more from these ladies and their culture and writing. A diamond worthy of praise.
