This is the only genuinely scary concept in the Thriller Bark arc. The Straw Hats actually got lucky they ended up where they did. The real reason ships dissappear in the Florian seems to be much more sinister, much more primordial, and much more powerful. I don't know if I ever want this to be solved just because of how striking it is.

Whatever those things are, they're arguably the largest thing in One Piece after the Red Line itself, which is quite scary considering those red eyes....

Geko Moria is so freaking lucky.

He was living and moving around in an island-iized ship for ten years, and never once encountered the Flordian Entities.

Brook is even more lucky. He wandered around there for over 50 years, and never once saw those behemoths.

The fog saved all their lives.

This is one of my favorite endings for a plotline in one piece exactly because of it's mistery, those things are arguably the biggest and most dangerous creatures in the entire world and not even the World Government a organization that exists and have been controlling the world for almost a millennia knows or have any kind of information of their existence simply because of the location they're present is completely covered by a mist so thick that you can't even see your hand in front of you when you stretch your arm, could the mist be created by these creatures? how ancient are they? do they eat ships whole? no one knows... I love you Oda, i love you One Piece

It honestly makes me wonder how Thriller Bark was able to avoid these things for Ten Years when it was in the mist. Either they were able to navigate around them somehow or just got extremely lucky the whole time.

The single most haunting thing in the series.

Another scary thing is that they live in the "paradise" part of the grand line...makes you wonder if there something bigger lurks in the New World...

The scariest part is the sea hides a quarter of its body so how big is it on land?

I think Imu looks a lot like those things especially after the transformation we just saw. Maybe God Valley does still exist (as it was so important to IMU or the gov so why would they destroy it as well as “not know” anything about the Florian triangle.) I think either Imu is of the same species or those things are manifested by IMU’s power at all times to make sure no one ever ventures on God Valley again!

The thing that really disturb me about the Florian Triangle monsters is how out of place they feel in One Piece, unlike any other giant monster like we have seen in One Piece, loud, colourful, and showy, always a spectacle to be seen, but this monsters are quietly staring in the shadows, like you weren't supposed to see them, like you aren't allowed to. I think they evoke a feeling hopelessness, no matter how powerful Luffy and the gang become, if they would ever come across this entities they would be gone, just gone, like they never even existed just like everyone who has encountered this being that should not exist.

Can y'all stop calling these guys numbers? Thriller Bark is as big as an Island, and we saw how big Oars was compared to it. Numbers are probably as big as Oars is. These things are as big or possibly bigger that Zunisha the elephant. So there's no way they're numbers.

Maybe it's a Menos Grande from bleach

Those twinkling red eyes and those shadowy dudes with wings and spears in their hands are pure nightmare fuel.

I always thought the Bermuda Triangle was spooky and interesting so it’s great to see Oda put his spin on it in One Piece!

Either it's something sinister we'll learn about later, or it's just Oda referencing Umibozu.

When I first watch it, I was like "wtf was that? Is that a monster?" Got me goosebumps too...
Maybe it's Oda foreshadowing or maybe it's really a mysteries that better be left alone
