“Big conspiracy being hatched…” Arvind Kejriwal concerns ‘deadly plot’ of SAD leader SukhbirBadal

Arvind Kejriwal, AAP's national convenor, condemned the attempted shooting of former Deputy CM SukhbirBadal in Punjab, praising the Punjab Police for averting a major accident. However, Kejriwal expressed concerns that a larger conspiracy is underway to destabilize Punjab and defame its people, involving powerful forces. Kejriwal contrasted the effective law and order response in Punjab with the allegedly rampant crime in Delhi, citing murders, shootouts, gangster control, drug sales, and rapes. He criticized the BJP for downplaying the severity of Delhi's crime situation, asserting that law and order is indeed a significant issue in the capital AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, "Today an incident happened in Punjab, someone tried to shoot at former Deputy CM SukhbirBadal but due to the alertness of Punjab Police, a big accident was averted. SukhbirBadal is safe. I condemn this incident. But one thing is clear that a big conspiracy is being hatched to ruin and defame Punjab and Punjabis and behind this many big forces are involved. Today the way Punjab Police not only stopped this incident but also set an example in front of the whole country that how law and order can be maintained with alertness...Murders are taking place openly in Delhi, shootouts are taking place openly, the entire capital is in the control of gangsters, drugs are being sold everywhere, women are being raped, the entire BJP becomes silent and their top leaders say that crime is not an issue, law and order is not an issue in Delhi."
