I cried for Kory. !! No amount of money can heal that.

I’m crying again hearing Mrs.Nash say that Korey still needs affection. All I wanted to do while watching the movie was give that baby a hug. If I ever see him in life I will be sure to give him the biggest hug I possibly can. I hope he feels all the love and compassion that the world has for him after hearing his story.

The entire interview for me was so emotional. The young lady who interviewed is not only beautiful, but intelligent with her questions and knowledge. Great interview. So much so that I wish it was longer.

This film broke me. It was so compelling and evoked so many emotions. I hope When They See Us sparks a dialogue on criminal justice reform. Enough is enough.

Shout out to Niecy Nash, she plays a wide range of rolls on camera, but outside of that she’s a real one. She mentioned she joined the innocence project and before that she’s been an activist.

The scene when Korey’s mom visited him for the first time broke me—I bawled my eyes out.

Her reaction when she told him she couldn’t give him $10 for his books was heartbreaking. Then, when Korey quickly said, “It’s okay, I don’t need money, ” just to spare her feelings, I lost it. 😢

This interviewer is powerful. She is not only engaged and connected, she is also bringing facts and data for a more in depth conversation.

Love it!

I dont cry from movies as a man. But this series had me sick as a dog. korey's story tore me up. This was a baby in jail with grown ass men! Im so happy GOD kept that man. Nobody but GOD.

Just watched all 4 episodes with my 16 year old son...my baby kept asking me “why Mom?” The interview and prison scenes were the hardest to watch...our dear beloved young brothers survived and their stories are finally being told...may God continue to heal them from their stolen youth and innocence. Still crying😢😢😢

I am so glad that she brought up Kalief Browder's story relating to Korey because that's exactly what I thought of when watching this. And the fact that when crimes happen to black women there's hardly if any media coverage but when it's a white woman people are up in arms.

My favorite part of her scene was when she said, "Korey...somebody loves you, baby!" I cried like a baby! His young body was being abused by older men, and the last thing he could remember is the touch of his mother. Jesus! I can cry all over again...
