Pritam Singh on WP leaders' response after first hearing about Leon Perera and Nicole Seah’s affair

In a media conference on Jul 19, Workers’ Party (WP) chief Pritam Singh revealed that he was approached by Aljunied MP Leon Perera’s driver in early 2021. The latter told him in a WhatsApp message that Mr Perera and party member Nicole Seah were meeting "very often" at restaurants and hotels, and that they were seen hugging and holding hands.

if you look at the timeline:
1. both scandals had been known to some crucial people some years back
2. last month the Iswaran scandal broke
3. then LHL suddenly fast-forwarded his expulsion of TCJ; otherwise TCJ might have disappeared into the night quietly?
4. the WP‘s hand seems to have been forced too on the heels of the TCJ scandal and the revelation of the video; could this issue has been muted?
Pritam called these scandals uncanny coincidence. i don‘t think so. it looks like the Iswaran case pulled back the curtain on these dirty linen. both parties could have mitigated the repercussions. otherwise how you explain having to inflict open hurts on four families (or three)?
