The HEAD Boom Pro is available @tennisexpress for demo and pre-sale. The brand new silo from HEAD incorporates an Auxetic construction in the bridge to provide ideal, real time feedback at contact. The technology vastly enhances the feel of the racquet, even outside the sweet spot. The Boom Pro has a brand new head shape, and it is quite different from HEAD's Speed, Gravity, and Radical models. The shaft of the boom is elongated and boxy, usually a key characteristic of a control frame. But in the hoop, a different shape was used to enhance the frame's power potential. HEAD refers to the design as a Morph Beam.

Hi, Great review! Is this Head s answer to the Wilson clash?How owuld you compare this to the Wilson Clash pro V1 & Clash V2? Do the have the same feel and power?

I bought this at the US open, and I was playing before with a Yonex Vcore 98 pro. The Yonex is great with control, but the Head Boom Pro offers feel and on demand power which as I just turned 49 I enjoy a ton. Its easy to generate power and accurate shots

I currently use the Head Graphene XT Extreme Pro. I'm looking for something that is more maneuverable, less stiff, but doesn't sacrifice power. Would this be a good fit?
