Went from 16% SOC (based on lowest cell voltage) to 51% (since the lowest cell is at 51% and the other 1-7 are probably at 53% or so). I think that's a really good example of pointing out why balancing is so important. Your unbalanced pack would have cut out WAY sooner since you had one cell that was so low whereas after balancing you've dramatically increased the runtime

Or if you didn't have a BMS and you discharged to say 27.5 or an average of 2.75V per cell that lowest cell would be in the toilet. Probably around 2.00V

I have the same active balancer for 4s type. Inductor type is better then capacitor type balancer. in my opinion.

Hi love your videos and trying to build a battery system for my Semi truck was going go with blutti because it’s easy but when I look it’s cheeper buying Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries is there a charger controller that you recommend and are they only for solar or can I connect it to a wall outlet I have a inverter in my Semi truck and when I’m driving I want to charge my batteries so I can use them when I’m not driving
