Ooh. So many nice toys! I'm most impressed with how you've managed to fit them in the shed!

This is the first time I have ever heard someone complain of not being able to go low enough on the Z axis on a mill. I spent a couple of grand going up in size to get more. Take the bed, put on a rotary table. Then a chuck on top of that. Using an ER32 collet I had to wind the table to one side so I would have room to install a cutter before winding back over the chuck with the workpiece installed. This made every tool change a slog.

I have "30 LED Sewing Machine Light Working Gooseneck Lamp with Magnetic Base DL" from Ebay
£4.45 each. I bought 3 and have just ordered another 4 for all my machines. Really bright white light.

Useful video! maybe a stupid question, but what's the benefit of the 3 axis DRO if there is already a z axis readout on the machine itself?

Thanks for that mate! Very helpful.
Info on Warco machines is hard to come by! How would you feel about doing a short video on your thoughts and feelings after a while of ownership?

The ALSGS power feed is very nice, and seems to work well. Can you please give a link to that you buy so I can buy one also..? I have a Optinum BF 20 milling machine and looks to be the same machine you

Hi there, useful video thanks for posting it.
I have the same mill and was looking at getting the power feed and stand from warco but I've got a couple of questions
Does the power feed just clamp to the table or is it screwed on, and how stable do you find the stand as it looks a small footprint for the size of mill?
cheers

Beautiful! I am considering getting one of these. Is that a 250 lathe? And what gets the most use, the lathe or the mill? Any new thoughts or warnings now you've had it a few months? Thanks for posting!

Please, can you measure the distance from the bottom side of the ER collet holder to the table when the head is all way down and the quill is not extended? Really, how can you machine things that lay on the table? I will use these

Which are 52mm in height when installed.

But some times other tools might be shorter when inserted to a R8 collet as you say. Fuzzy...
