Galatians (Part 3) – Gal. 3:1-14 — An Apologetics Bible Study

In part 3, we explore some deep theological themes and connect some dots between the Hebrew Bible (OT) and the New Testament as the apostle Paul gives a masterclass on biblical theology!

In this series, we’re approaching the book of Galatians with an eye for the theological themes that speak to the relationship between the Christian and the Law of Moses. Do any of the Old Testament laws apply to us? If so, in what way? What about the Ten Commandments? Has that changed under the New Covenant? What is Paul talking about in Galatians 6 when he shows us how to fulfill what he calls the “Law of Christ"?

I came out of Hebrew Roots some time ago. My wife still is in that way of believing in keeping the Sabbath and holy days. I made it clear to her in a kind Christian way that I am done with that. I don't get in her way of doing what she believes. When the veil was removed from my eyes it wasn't removed yet from her eyes nor from the brothers or sisters in that relationship. She just can't see it. I was in that way for many years so I can understand somewhat what has happened. I can just be an example, but I don't believe she will see it unless God takes that veil off of her eyes. I hope and pray that she will see it too. I never felt salvation in that way. I thought I was doomed because I knew I couldn't keep it. I failed at it miserably. Thank you for such a good explanation of Galatians!

What a wonderful Blessing for me to know, and to understand, that there is nothing I need to do to gain God’s forgiveness! Except to be obedient to his word.and even that is only possible by The leading and power of the Holy Spirit!

this is so good... when you are done with Galatians, can you teach about the apocrypha? I work with a Hebrew roots guy who avoids/ignores the book of Hebrews and the book of Galatians so much, and now he is quoting from books that aren't in the bible, but are allegedly historic texts. these apocrypha books are new to me, but are gaining a lot of popularity lately in secular churches.... not sure they can damage our roots like torahism?

The problem with most preachers and theology graduates is that they were taught incorrectly. If you memorize the Word of Elohim, but were taught by someone that does not have the Spirit of Elohim in them, you won't either. Open your mind to accept the WORD of Our Creator. He is perfect. He is The Word. He is The Messiah. HE does not change. HE said, "Do Not add to or take away from My Word" ( Him).
