I'm an EXO-L and I can see why Tao's father wants him to leave. I wouldn't want to see my kid getting hurt, although it would make me happy that he's doing what wants to do. It's just that I hope people would stop bashing his dad for wanting to protect his son from getting hurt. Some fans just need to look at the fathers point of view and I hope they respect Tao's decision- whatever that's going to be.

Looking is from his father's perspective, I see it all. I see that he sees his child being hurt physically and maybe even mentally with over working and thoughts that Tao may have of work harder or putting himself down for not recovering fast enough etc... And the father does not see a celebrity or someone that many people love. He sees his child that he raised from day 1 and wants to protect him and heal him.

If Tao wants to stay or go, it is his decision. He loves EXO and their fans. If he decides to stay, I want him to focus on his health as much as the father worries because one of the articles stated that he has a leg injury from long ago and it hasn't healed. And then the body aches and stuff. I guess this can go to all of the EXO members and idols: If they want to stay in that idol life, to speak up if they can so they can be treated better. People united can do great things.

With all that being said, I will support Tao's decision and I hope Tao understands why his father is doing this and doesn't hate him for it.

Tbh. I'm just really confused what's going on right now, and being an EXO-L, it'll be really hard to see one of my biases to leave EXO. But also I believe he's making the right choice to stop and get healthy from his injuries. But we (EXO-L)will always love Tao and support him in his choices/ decisions.
The thing I'm really confused about is that of Tao is just taking a long breal to heal and then coming back. But idk.

What tick me off because of this issue is when there's someone who wish death/blame to Tao or Tao's father.. like seriously, his father is absolutely concerned about his son's health.. I'll respect Tao's decision though.. Whatever outcome of this issues, sure will have pros and cons.. If Tao insisted decided to stay, then SM better treated his artists right.. Tao probably gonna struggle a bit, but exo-l still in devastated because worrying Tao's health at the same time .. If Tao decided to leave, it's good for his health.. but exo will lost exo-m maknae.. Probably it'll be hard to have exo-m since, there's only Yixing, Chen, Xiumin and D.O.. and then, another heartbreak for exo-l.. You know, this is the most frustrating things when we are just fans.. We can't really help him to solve his problem.. We only can support him.. whether from a far or near..

I agree on what JRE said that at the end of the day, Tao still holds the final say. He's a stubborn kid, really. He loves EXO and the fans too much, I could see that. He already made a promise back then that we all just have to believe in him, and I am. I'm not even making this "issue" a big deal because I really have faith in Tao. I know he knows what we've all been thru, and I hope, and I am really really praying that he won't let us down.

But whatever decision he makes, I won't love him any less, just like with Kris and Luhan. I won't stop supporting him no matter what happens.

I don't understand why SM gave Lay a studio or whatever is called to help him do his activities in China but when Tao father asked them to give His son the same treatment they refused. I mean they're both on the same group so treat them equally, ofc Tao will feel down about that. and his dad is right if he keep hurting himself oneday he will found himself not able to dance. Even if Tao wants to stay and perform, I highly doubt he can with that injury...
I've seen photos of his leg and it looks so bad, his condition is getting worse and he isn't being treated properly
After he performed with the injury, things have gotten worse 
If he can't walk properly, I really don't think he can dance 
It really saddens me because Tao is an amazing person and is really talented but at the same time I can't help but want him to leave because I don't want his condition to get worse, his father was right when he filled a lawsuit, he's worried about his child
I bet he knows what goes on with him since I'm sure they talk

Even if Tao's dream is to be an idol and perform, he can't do it if he's going to harm himself

He's so precious and nice to his fans, he performed with an injury just to please them and make them happy but he ended up hurting himself even more to a condition where he can't even walk
I don't want him to stay in EXO if it means he has to suffer 
It might be selfish of me to say that I want him to leave but I really can't bear the thought of him being so hurt to yet he has to perform 
I don't want this for him and I'm comepletely positive his family hates what they're doing, making him leave his dream but they're simply worried about him

SM has responded to the letter already so that pretty much confirms its legit and they said something along the lines of "We're sorry to see a letter like this come out" and that they're going to try and talk this out so that the outcome is a positive one. And rumor has it that Tao will be making an ~announcement~ tomorrow. I can see the outcome going either way, leaving or staying or maybe even hiatus. No matter what happens, I'm just hoping Tao is happy and healthy.

Oh SM... Anyway,  I hope Tao does whatever he feels best. It would, however, really be sad for EXO to lose another member, especially since they wanted a new fresh start in 2015. Hopefully, everything gets worked out in the end and EXO and Tao get through whatever will come their way involving this situation!

i hope he finds a place where he gets proper support and happiness as much as he wants to be with exo there's no way he will be 100% happy under sm. so much injuries and bad treatment it kills me to know this things specially since he's my favorite member (kris was my number one tao is my second and now they're both gone, damn...)
although i'm sad i'm on his dad side if this is all true, tao's health is a lot more important right now.

Totally agree with most of what everyone is saying. If this IS true then I think his father is just being like any dad and is worried about his son's health especially after hearing about all the rumours surrounding SM's treatment to "foreigners". He shouldn't receive any mean comments for being a concerned father.
Tao, on the other hand, if he wants to stay and can endure SM's strict system then good luck to him. I know whatever his decision, EXO L would forever support him all the way. Its HIS choice at the end of the day.

What I DO hate is how everyone is just predicting on which member is going to leave next, like its some form of game. >_< They keep harassing Lay and Tao and is constantly checking if they're going to leave EXO like Kris and Luhan! What if they don't want to leave? Or if they do, what right do we have to stop them? All its bringing them is extra stress while everyone's just waiting for the next controversy/gossip to happen by spreading all these rumours which is really annoying!

Honestly... I have a lot of negative feelings towards SM lately so this may come across as an angry rant but as I become more and more of a fan of K-pop the only company that as consecutively lost members over mistreatment and money is SM. Hell they even lose members when they are still rookies. But SM is the type of company that is only in it for the money and will work their members until the breaking point. Tao is getting close to the breaking point in my opinion... he may want to stay with EXO but he might not be able to further down the road. If his injuries don't get the proper time to rest and recover this just might be the end of his career of dancing and martial arts permanently. He would still be able to sing and rap of course but not with EXO, which is a dance group. But due to SM's strict contracts, if he breaks it he would lose everything essentially. He wouldn't be able to perform live on music shows, be able to attend award shows and he wouldn't be able to use EXO's fame to promote himself if he leaves. And since he was born in China, he would be able to do these things until SM finds some way to shut him down there, as is the case with Kris and Luhan, since SM thinks they are using EXO's name to land jobs in China. Anyways back to Tao, if he stays with SM until he can't do anything SM might release him from his contract, which would give him the freedom to later perform to his heart's content but he might not be able to if he keeps injuring and reinjuring himself. Eventually your body won't be able to keep up. So I want him to get out of his contract but... there is no win-win situation here.

I agree with you, it's 100% Tao's choice, but i also understand his father: if he stays, and then gets more and more hurt, to the point that he can't dance anymore, I don't know... But, althought i'm like TOOOTAAALLY sad that he might leaving, I really hope that he would make his own decision, without thinking of anyone's opinion, because in any case, it's kind of HIS life and health... Fighting Tao !!!

At the end of the day I want Tao to be happy and healthy if that means he is with EXO then awesome if that means he goes home to his family I will wish him nothing but happiness. I mean I had picked Tao as my bias from his first teaser so if he leaves EXO it will suck hardcore but I can't put my personal greed over someone else's life ya know? I will support him no matter where he goes but I don’t think he has any intention to leave as of now because if he did his dad wouldn't have had to post that letter/essay/message in the first place... yep this just stinks all around
