This scene was absolute art. I love how the CIO isn’t even reacting or saying anything. Gives the vibe of a guy who’s legit seen it all. The guy is so chill and that adds to the comedy. The indignancy and victim complex of luke It’s literal masterpiece.

I saw absolute RED when he tried to drag Emily down with him. He made it sound like Emily was some sort of predator who was using her power over him, never once did he mention how they were in a RELATIONSHIP and how HE PROPOSED TO HER. Luke was such a POS, Emily is extremely lucky this all happened before she married him IMO.

Phoebe Dynevor has an outstanding performance. Indeed she's grown out of Bridgerton and do more mature roles.

This is sick. Pretty much sums up what's wrong with the corporate world. Luke would be totally saying the opposite if he had got the promotion. He can't see how self-contradictory he is.

I think the funniest part of this scene is this guy's reaction... Is his name Paul? I can't remember at 2:04 . And also I think Dax maybe running to call security/the cops straight after. It even beats Luke's barking

I didnt really get the vibe that luke was the clear villain of this film. I interpreted the message of this film as everyone is self serving, everyone is misogynistic, everyone is hypocritical. Seems like the general consensus from the comments is that Emily is some kind of feminist hero and and thats not how i interpreted this movie at all
