I'm Malay in the most religious state Kelantan quite outspoken about my disbelief in Islam. We should not make no longer believe in Islam like a big deal because we're still Muslim in everyone eyes.

Fairuz you are a true Malaysian. And your bravery to speak out. Well done. To me, religion is a choice and not by force. You should have the freedom to choose your own beliefs and religion.

As an ex-Muslim Malay who never choose to be in that belief, I really hope this country will not force their ideology upon us. And the world needs to know about this, about us. Not just Uiyghur

The fact that apostates have to hide their faces pretty much tells you all you need to know about religious tolerance in Muslim majority countries.

Salutation to you Fairuz! Yes, in Malaysia you do not have ‘freedom of speech’ when it comes to talking or commenting on Islamic issues.
In Malaysia, we are all like puppets dancing to their tunes. These politicians are destroying our beautiful homeland “Malaysia” by their corrupted practices on every issue. I also thank people like Siti Kassim, Mariam Mohktar such strong women fighting for the human rights of Malaysian.
Yes, Fairuz, thank you for speaking out the “TRUTH”. Blessings to you.

As an ex-Indonesian and a cradle Christian Catholic who used to live in KL for 3 years I feel bad for ex-Muslims (and murtad-to-be) who were born and brought up as Muslims but then have to pay a high price only to leave islam. Whatever path they choose now I wish them all a much better life.
For Fairuz, I’m so amazed by your story, thanks for sharing and I hope there will be the time when you don’t have to cover up anymore and live freely. Stay safe and well.

Freedom of religion should be guaranteed for all people in Malaysia not only for non Muslims. Rights to profess any religion rather than Islam as well is fundamental human right. A country or religious authority have no rights to intervene.
Malaysia Malay and other race Islam born against Malaysia shariah regime and malaysia goverment negligence. We stand as unity togather to expose this inhumane prosecution towards ex muslim minority.
