I used this product to re coat a clean, dry ground floor extension roof and applied it as per the instructions. After around 18 months it began to crack and peel. I contacted Thompson's directly and was eventualy told that I should not have applied it over existing paint, despite the surface being clean, smooth and dry. I am now left with a sticky flaky mess that I will have to remove before I can re-treat the roof with an alternative product. I will not use this product again and would not recommend it.

Genuinely bought this hoping not to look at roof for at least a few more years. It all peeled off after two!! It has peeled so badly we had to brush it all off like bad sunburn and now we’re looking at another product NOT Thompson to resell

Looks more like dark grey and not black. Was very disappointed with the finished colour.

All these manufacturers of these water proofing products make claims. That they will do all sorts of things . But in reality they never do and when you complain its always about how you applied it . Thats there get out clause.
