Thousands of US and Filipino marines launch 10 days of joint exercises in the northern and western Philippines on Tuesday, October 15, a day after China held huge drills around Taiwan.

The asean sea issue has exists in decades. Only recently when the corrupt marcos came onboard then it became a mountain out of a molehill. No Asean countries will start a war on such minor little sea issue, the asean has a bigger cooperation and mission on economics progress and development in the long run.

And, no worries China will never be the 1st to start a war on Philippines. Its a waste of their time and resources. But, if US and Philippines decide to start, then dont blame China once a war started.
