I left my abusive ex in early July in 2020. This song felt like it was made for me when it came out. He would scream at me to leave and when I finally did he put up a fight. I'm glad I got me and my dog out. We have our own house now but mama is still recovering from what I went through. I'm so very greatful for my doggie who is so protective, loyal and loving with me.
