I've been subbed to you for years, and I've watched every single video you've done since the day I subbed. I have NEVER walked away from any video of yours thinking to myself: "Jeesh. I wish there were more 3D animated graphics and slick Guy Ritchie edits on that video." However, I have left every single one of your videos with new valuable information that I absolutely have used to make better streams and recordings.

If the information in the video is clear and helpful I don't think it matters how flashy it is.

There's been a recent shift with social media and more specifically video consumption. People want authenticity, as if they are having a simple conversation with the creator instead of overly-edited graphic-heavy content being barked at them. It used to be said that the over produced content was to keep viewer attention and increase retention. But nowadays it seems like folks pay more attention, when again, they feel like they are just chilling with the creator.

I must say that I have learned so much from your channel. For example you introduced me to Voicemeeter and Waves audio, and no crazy editing was required. And when I've had questions on how to use these apps you often have videos that show and explain perfectly how to do so with no crazy editing required. I always get exactly what I need from your videos and over producing them would offer no added value or allow me to get the info any better. Just the other day there was a major update to Voicemeeter including the new VAIO Extension and you made a video explaining everything perfectly without any crazy editing required.

So indeed, keep it simple and stay authentic.

I'm on the same page on you with this one. I think a lot of videos these days are overproduced.
Worst are those fast paste videos with transitions every 1 - 2 seconds.
I'm a simple man with simple needs.
