Hi Eldar! Thanks for the advice. Maybe you can come to England and work voluntarily as my camera man? Then you can personally ensure that all the videos are top quality.

By the way, 'advice' is uncountable in English, so please try and say 'I want to give you some advice'. Advices is always wrong

Another fantastic question. I should have included this in the lesson, but unfortunately I forgot.
ADMIT + ing = ADMIT TO + ing
ADMIT + noun = ADMIT TO + noun
ADMIT TO S.O that..
There is very little difference in meaning between 'he admitted to stealing the money' and 'he admitted stealing the money'. It gets even more confusing because the following is also correct:
''He admitted to me that he had stolen the money.''
I recommend Oxford Advanced Learners website for clarification.

That's a great question. And I am happy to say we are both right. If a detective was talking to his colleague about a suspect, it is highly likely that he would say 'he admitted the theft (on the High Street) but denied the murder (which took place nearby)', because he has a definite theft and murder in mind, and one which his colleague knows about. However, a newspaper may say 'he admitted theft but denied murder' because it is referring to the crimes of theft and murder in a general sense

Watch my video on reported speech for the answer here - it depends on whether you use the attracted sequence of tenses, or the natural sequence. In written forms, we often use the attracted sequence (tenses go back). But speaking, if the sentence is still true, then we often use the natural sequence (present tenses don't move)

Hi Dave, is it possible or even necessary to use perfect gerund in sentenses in reported speech with 'admit' and 'deny'?(denied stealing vs denied having stolen)

I'm wondering about the difference between  "reject", "decline" and "refuse". Could you help me?

Dear MR. Skype Lessons,
I want to give you some advices about making your videos more effective. Firstly, please pay attention to the illumination you use. The room is dark. For instance, you can use fluorescent light bulbs rather normal spot lightening bulbs, so your shadow will not be so visible. Also, the lamp reflects on the blackboard, what is really annoying. Secondly, adjust your camera angle. For example, the angle between camera look and the blackboard should be 90 degree.

Lastly, the text is confusing. It would be better if you had used different colored markers. In sum, my advices are improving the illumination, adjusting camera angle, and using colored markers.

Thank you for your lessons. Please don't consider it like offence.

Hi, i have one doubt about the reporter speech, when i used the words like: admit, suggest, deny e.t.c, there are always fallow by gerund but if i'm doing the reported spech the verb after this words (admit, suggest, deny e.t.c) don't back one step to the past or still in the present?
thank you, you are an amazing teacher!

I found some some examples in the dictionary.
"Phillips openly admits to having an alcohol problem".
"After questioning, he admitted to the murder"
"To" after the verb admit is confusing...

Great break down, teacher. One question though: in the sentence with He admitted ..., but denied. Why wouldn't I put «a» or «the» before theft and murder? He admitted the («a» I think would be less likely) theft, but denied the murder.
Articles are tough to master.
Cheers from Moscow.
