In my dialect we say "مستعر" / "mista’er" which means I’m ashamed. It’s very similar to “I’m sorry” in Hebrew

Hi Maha. Cool lesson :-) By the way, "sorry" is also an adjective in English, it's not a verb, so the pattern is just as in Hebrew and Arabic, except of course that as you explain, Arabic and Hebrew accord the adjective in gender, and they don't express the verb "to be" in this case. But "sorry" is the equivalent of 'asif/'asifa :) magha s-salaama!

Hi Maha, this is Vishaka Chakrapani here from Al-Hind :) I have viewed all your arabic lesson videos and I have to say I got a neat hand of the language coz of you :D could you please show videos on how to make longer sentences such as 'I did not know that you cancelled on me' because getting the grammar right in longer sentences is very difficult.
