Mozart 'Lacrymosa' moderate/easy piano + FREE sheet music

There are a number of piano arrangements of Mozart's "Lacrimosa" (Lacrymosa) most notably by Liszt, Thalberg, Klindworth and Schonenberger. all available free from the IMSLP Music Library.

Just sat at my piano and played that along with you Paul!
I absolutely adore this piece of music.
Couldn’t process the next chord quick enough when the sheet music changed each time, so had to guess, often got the harmony wrong. Wish I could play better by ear, but I’m very much a reader.

Mozart only wrote the first 8 measures: the remainder was composed by his pupil Franz Sussmayr after Mozart's death.

Beautiful playing. I thank you for sharing the score, especially with the addition of your notations. As a relatively new player, I find that watching you play the piece whilst reading the score at the same time is most instructional

I remember being in highschool and watching the movie about Mozart's life. When he was dying they played this song. I cried so much.This piece was also the first latin/opera song I ever learned and was the beginning of many operas for me. Thank you Mozart😊

Hi Paul. I just listened to your performances of the Liszt and Thalberg transcriptions! This is one of my favorite works of all time and I enjoyed your multiple posts showing how different the transcriptions really are. This is a very simple transcription and nice to see the notes on the screen and your various corrections. How nice of you to provide this to a pianist may want to play it without as much of a challenge, but still preserve the integrity of the music.
