Thank you so much for completing this program. I have a dim recollection of seeing it when it aired in 1959. And it's a treasure trove of performers who were performing on Broadway around this time: Tammy Grimes, Larry Blyden, Russell Nype, Polly Rowles, David Burns, Howard St. John. Amazing to see this, and in such good quality. Do please keep them coming.

I've always loved "Yankee Doodle Dandy" and to see this is priceless!

I loved the whole play! If time travel was possible, I'd go back to 1906 and see this play on Broadway.

Simply marvellous ! So terrific to see this famous musical comedy from what Americans call 'The Gilded Age" and Brits "The Edwardian Period". What makes this special is that it seems to have been directed with a sense for the period, the cast taking bows after each song, and so on, just like in the 1900s. So much better than most of the trash on TV these days or in the theatre. Any chance there is a televised version of Leslie Stuart`s "Floradora" somewhere, but if not, this is still terrific.

Frenetic, histrionic, Karamatsovian Yankee entertainment from yore. B-camp that one cannot rip their eyes from. Best in small does!
