April 2025 - I just bought a new R6 mk2 for £1, 359 which seems like the most bang-for -the-buck out there right now.
To put it into context my 20 year old 5D was over £3, 000 in 2005 (so more like £6, 000 today). I mean I bought it a couple of years ago for £230 but you get my point.
The 6D Mk2, with all those features (including Netflix quality video) is about 25% of the real-world price that the 5D was. Sort of a Week's wage rather than a Month's.

ALL-I is in the R where it counts, timelapse, where each image is different. IPB is the same as ALL-I for smooth motion.

Man, great video. I have the eosr since it came out, and I want to buy the r6ii now. I mostly shoot real estate photos and videos, but I also do snowboard and ski photography and video, so I need the fast camera and better video. My only quarrel with this video is the constant subscribe emote popping up 😂 I will subscribe to you because of the high-quality content, not because of the subscribe emote(it's very annoying) 😂

A thing on EOS R i think you often accidently touches the screen and change the focus area - is the problem the same on R6 Mark II?

I upgraded to capture my kids in motion. The R isn't that great at moving subjects. I personally never found myself using the top LCD screen on the R. I would much rather have the extra toggle on the r6.

The touch screen toggle af points on the R is clumsy. The R was basically the first run prototype of what evolved into the fully refined R6ii today.

The R6 ii or R6 are way better than the old eos R which was already outdated when it came out and heavily crippled
