This is a great video, not many people draw bulldogs with pastels and this video has helped me to understand depth, detail and even which tools I need to buy. I'm just starting out but my friends have told me I'm doing great.

Such amazing detail from soft pastels, I am hoping to get a more impressionistic effects wit hmy pastel works but I am still learning and your so accomplished! Than you for continuing to post such wonderful pictures/paintings! Do you ever do more impressionistic works? I will check your video library again too! I do like the whiskers and adding final details would be another good video too! Knowing when a pastel is finished is particularly hard for me just now.

I'm still blown away at how you get those fine lines stroke after stroke with the soft pastels. Are you constantly turning them? As hair tapers at both ends.
