Nobels ODR-1 Overdrive Guitar Pedal Demo

A cult classic among Nashville session players, the Nobels ODR-1 is a natural-sounding dirt box that fits sonically somewhere between the mythical transparent overdrive and the ubiquitous mid-forward green pedal. This pedal boasts a 3-knob control set with Drive, Spectrum, and Level knobs. Drive and Level are self-explanatory; however, the Spectrum knob offers something different. Rather than operating as a typical tone control, Spectrum enables you to simultaneously dial in your bass and treble without affecting your mids. The result is extremely transparent, and it flatters any amp you plug the pedal into. Working with limited pedalboard real estate? Nobels packed the same tone and transparency into a pint-sized stompbox with the ODR-Mini, ensuring there‘s an ODR for every player‘s needs.

Transparent overdrive on tap! The Nobels ODR-1 serves up everything from subtle warmth to roaring fire. What's your favorite setting? ⚡

This guy is a great presenter. No BS.
The ODR-1 has quickly become my favorite OD pedal. It does the sound in my head.

This was my first pedal and it’s still my main OD.

The ODR-1 is my main OD pedal which I leave on quite a bit. It also stacks nicely into my "glove" and "SD-1". I run the drive at straight-up 5 with the spectrum at about 1o'clock on number 6. The level is also at 5 as always on, but I do adjust the level when couple with other pedals. It has been my #1 OD pedal for quite a while now and I have no intentions of changing it.

ODR-1 has become my go-to drive. I run a Klon clone before it with medium gain and it's just the most glorious combination - through a Cali Tweed, no less!!

Glad to see Sweetwater carrying these. I have both and love them.

This is a great pedal! The Wampler Belle is a great boutique version, but you can't go wrong with the OG ODR!

Love my ODR-1! The Boss Blues Driver was my previously standard cruch sound until I founds the Nobels. It sounds great as a low gain with the gain between 2-3. There's alot more gain in this pedals than you think. I love the circuit and that's what made me also buy the Wampler Belle which is great in its own right.

Love my Nobles ODR-1, I use it as a boost, mild-overdrive, setting, always on, paired with the LovePedal TChula and the Cali76 comp. Nice to see you guys upload a vid on it.

I came across one of these a few months ago and at least for me probably the best overdrive I've ever owned. I thought it would be my secret weapon but here you are promoting it, thanks Sweetwater 😂

Seems just a bit past noon is the sweet spot. Love this pedal with the bass cut off. That bottom end sounds great.

You absolutely need the bass cut version. The bass is pretty over the top IMO without it engaged.
