For many of us his music WAS the BACKDROP to our entire young lives and the canvas was a masterpiece of beauty . I just do not know if there will EVER be a Dan Folgeberg to grace this planet again . I heard this song back in the mid 1970s on the radio in the house where I had grown up with my parents outside Dartford in Kent, England, and it just blew me away ! It was years before I heard it again and discovered who it was by ! He really did write so many good songs didn't he ! Never got a chance to see him play, but RIP Dan, and Thanks !

A beautiful song about the staying power of love. When you feel, and experience love, even though it may have ended many years in the past, it never leaves you. Everything about it, the emotional ties, the physical/sensual feelings are forever easy to summon. It remains a beautiful haunting for all the rest of your life.
