In this video, we explore the possibility that S5 0014+81 might be the largest black hole in the universe, even bigger than previously discovered supermassive black holes like Ton 618 and Phoenix A. Recent research suggests that S5 0014+81 has a mass of more than 140 billion times that of our sun, making it an incredibly powerful object in the cosmos.

Join us on this journey through space and time as we explore the latest discoveries about S5 0014+81 and its implications for our understanding of black holes and the cosmos. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to learn about one of the most awe-inspiring objects in the universe!

People still struggle to accept Phoenix A over Ton 618 and you tell them there's already a bigger one?

When scientists name new planets/black holes, do they just mash their keyboards and call it a day? 💀💀

For S5 The Schwarzschild radius of this black hole is 120 billion kilometers, giving a diameter of 240 billion kilometers, 1, 600 astronomical units, or about 40 times the radius of Pluto's orbit, and has a mass equivalent to four Large Magellanic Clouds.

For Phoenix A assuming it is a non-rotating black hole, an immense event horizon with the Schwarzschild diameter of 590.5 billion kilometres (3, 900 astronomical units; 0.062 light-years), 100 times the distance from the Sun to Pluto. A circumference that would take 71 days and 14 hours to travel at light speed.

I always thought that Phoenix A is bigger but a black hole that will take me four mins to learn has suprised me

No matter how big a black hole or galaxy it stills fits into our devices.

I've researched this and S50014+81 is the SECOND largest in space. Phoenix A is still the king 👑

Update: Phoenix A is still growing meaning it may be the biggest forever 😅
