Every year I see the same cyclical issues with the release of the latest iOS. Bugs, performance, battery drain, security all seem to be a common theme with the must have software. I’m perplexed why people don’t wait for the point one release - surely it’s better to keep using the previous iOS, that’s been finessed over the previous twelve months, rather than download what is still a beta version for the masses, and put up with all those flaws that come with it. Be patient, give it a month or two then download an improved version, and you’ll have a better experience.

Apple NEEDS to fix the bug or glitch or whatever it is that makes the Notes app scroll without you scrolling and makes it unusable. The workaround where they tell you to delete iCloud cache or whatever it is doesn’t work either because you can’t get back the notes you had on the devices that were not on iCloud. I’ve lost notes for university classes because of this issue. Please fix this, Apple.

I can confirm performance IS improved. My 15 Pro's lowest score on 18.0 was 2800/7050 and on this latest update now i get 2980/7480 which is close to the highest I got on 17.4.

ive had an issue with media playback on all apps since i updated to 18.0 on my 15 pro. weird thing is it's only an issue when bluetooth is on. hopefully this is addressed soon.

I need them to fix the photo darkening bug that happens when a markup is applied. It totally throws off the look of photos!

Thank goodness they fixed the annoying screen responsiveness issue. On my iPhone 16 Pro Max, I went through about 3 screen protectors thinking they were the issue.
