Hello, I learned about your channel from Reads with a Vengeance last night. I love your tour. I love that your family has duplicate books that belong to various family members. Sometimes sharing isn’t the best option! So many of your books mirror my own favorites. I had to smile when you said you didn’t like the classic, 1984. That may be the best compliment you could assign such a story. I feel it was meant to educate, disturb, and warn us about how fragile all nations are. I am nearing my 70’s and I cannot tell you how many news stories over the decades, about nations around the globe, have triggered warnings learned from this book. Another BookTuber asked, what book changed your life? Your comment made me realize this disturbing classic comes back to haunt me far too often.

I look forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you.

Oh I wish you would make another video pulling the books out and giving a brief synopsis. I love to get new books to me from other people's bookshelves. But you have such a great collection. Thank you for sharing.

Your shelves are beautiful! Mine don't look this tidy. I have two 8 ft walls, and my shelves are still overflowing.

So fun seeing your read shelves! I like how you have them be genre. I would have a hard time finding anything based solely of the color of the spine LOL

You have quite the collection! I sympathize with the homeschool space. We just stared homeschooling this year (preschool) and I'm already running out of space everywhere. 😅 I'm dreading getting into regular school just because I have no idea where everything is going to go.

Your bookshelves look great! I could never do the color thing, I would freak out. I’d never be able to find anything. I think mine are organized pretty much like yours. I could stand to make a few changes though!

you also have books from janet & geoff benge?! I really love them. I like reading about missionaries and i find that they are really good authors, especially making biographies interesting! Ive never met anyone who also reads those books (or read) I mean I dont know if you liked them, but I surely liked them. I mean I did read them when I was a bit younger, but even then I think its good because the authors really paid attention to write it for all ages (in my oppinion) 😄 for some reason Im really happy that you also have them!

LOL When you homeschool, you KNOW you have books! Lots and lots of books. I posted a video last night of my middle grade books and have Pictures of Hollis on my tbr. It was part of my son's curricula way back in the day, but we didn't get to it. I'm happy to see it on your shelf. THANK YOU, the OCD in me couldn't handle your Sidewalk book being upside down either. LOL this was fun. I could never organize my books by color alone. I wouldn't be able to find anything. My books are organized by genre, but I like our color coded in the genre style. I've not considered that. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Chantel

I really enjoyed your Book Shelf Tour - you have lots of good books on your shelves.

I Ike the way they are.

I never herd of Mandy Series - I will have to look this up and find out who the Author is and see if I can buy these from Amazon.

I think there is 156 Books in the Nancy Drew Mystery Series by Carolyn Keene. I have the Complete list of the Books. I now have the first 34 Books on my Shelves.

Amazon has Book Cases that do not attached to the walls and you can move them around if you want so I am going to start buying these Book Cases for my own Library. I already got three solid Bookcases - two of them in my Library that was hand made by a guy from my church and then I have one bookcase with cupboards on top and on bottom of the bookcase and I love it. This is in my Living Room.

I hope that you get some time this weekend to read.

Take Care & Happy Reading

Love this!! I organize my shelves like you - according to genre, and according to color within that genre.

You aren't OCD. If I had your library, they would be organized in alphabetical order (except the non-fiction😊).

Thanks for sharing! You have some beautiful editions! My Anne series I got from my grandmother so the binding is old, but I love the vintage look too. Your collection is amazing!

I really enjoyed 1984. I've read it twice now. Not so much Animal Farm though.

Your shelves are definitely visually appealing, and I like the fact that you don't just keep any old book, only the ones that bring you joy in some way or another.
