Have you changed belts on this model? what is your thoughts on the new belts that adjust( cut to length ? i seen where Mr.Pete was using them on another machine.

Nicely restored example of this great lathe. Have you had the chance to use it much? making any parts. How well does it cut?
The same lathe came into my life about a year ago and have been slowly taking it all apart and cleaning it up. It takes a GREAT deal of work to restore any lathe. It looks like you did a fantastic job on this one. the half nut lever looks like it is 90 degrees off? Thanks for the vid.

You are a nut for opening the gear cover plate while the lathe was running many people have lost fingers and hands inside moving parts such as gears and pulleys and chain drives if YOUR going to be around equipment you should respect the safety rules
