My parents threw out my figures when I was a kid which broke my heart. So having a chance to experience them again is wonderful. Awesome you got your sets!

True story, my mom couldn’t afford to get me the fire station so I made my own out of cardboard.

I got my son into Ghostbusters. The live action was too scary at first when he was 4 so I showed him the cartoons. Now he loves the movies because of the cartoons and isn’t scared anymore. He asked for a Ghostbuster 6th birthday party and to be a Ghostbuster for Halloween this year. I’m buying him all 4 of the the Hasbro Ghostbusters, the Ecto-1, Slimer, Stay Puft, Bugeye, Fearsomeflush. I never knew they released a recreation of the original toys 4 years ago. When I saw them online, I thought they were scammers. I wish they recreated the firehouse. My older brother had one when we were growing up, I’ll never forget how cool that was.

I just picked the four Ghostbusters up today! Takes me back to my early childhood, what a great set.

I'm glad I have all four of the Hasbro's Real Ghostbusters Kenner Classic figures on card, I have two first series 2nd issue Real Ghostbusters of Egon Spengler & Peter Venkman mint on card. They are releasing the Ecto-1, Bug-Eye Ghost, and Fearsome Flush again next month in April.

I noticed that even though they are the same figures there's slightly less detail in the face mold(like 5% or less) but aside from that they look amazing for what they are. If they ever make a Real Ghostbusters art book I hope they include uncut artwork from the RGB toyline kind of like what they did with the Transformers art book.

Did you notice how the mold of the proton pack is a mix of the movies and the animated series? The bottom is clearly the animated series with the three lights in the cyclotron, and the top is modeled after the movies with it being more squared off and missing the red bottle.

I really hope these show up in Canada. Seems like half of the really great toys never make it up here. I just finished posting some videos of my 80s Ghostbusters toys, and these figures were never part of my collection. I don't want to miss the chance to add them!

Sad I'll never get a set of these because I refuse to pay scalpers their crazy mark up for them. :/ Glad they're well done for those who were lucky enough to grab a set.

I saw these at Walmart and was so tempted to buy them. They're so cool and so nostalgic, but 20 bucks a piece seemed too high in my opinion. If they were in the 10-15 dollar range, I probably would've walked out of there with the whole set. Unfortunately I kinda have to watch what I buy when it comes to toys and such. :(

These figures seem to be nonexistent in stores (at least in AZ). I've given up trying to find them. I hate when stuff like this is ultra rare and exclusive to one particular outlet (like Walmart in this case). You'd think Hasbro would want to make some MONEY by making the figures easy to purchase.
