Uganda's first transgender woman longs for inclusivity

Cleopatra Kambugu is the first openly transgender woman in Uganda, a country known for its homophobia. Many members of the LGBT community are forced to live secret lives to avoid harassment from authorities and the public. Kambugu is thrilled that her new national ID shows her as a woman. She believes that talking about gender identity builds tolerance.
