Crochet MESH crop top Tutorial FOR BEGINNERS #crochet #diy

Beautiful single shoulder crochet top tutorial. You can make this top in all sorts of colours ( Im making a cream colour next).The pattern is super customisable to suit your body so you don't necessarily have to do the exact same thing I've done in the tutorial.

my bust measurement = 89cm
chain( to fit around my bust)= 160 chains- here again the number of stitches you make may differ from mine, also the tension of your stitches could differ from mine making the amount of stitches you need more or less

For the blocked part, if it’s too gappy or you want more coverage, you can just do linked double crochet! Keeps the stitches super tight and makes a nice effect.

This top is so cute! I do have a question, so I know that you said the first initial chains should be enough to fit around your bust. What do you suggest for someone who has a bigger bust but a smaller waist because I made the chains enough to fit around my bust just like you had mentioned but then once I get it down to my waist, it’s like really big, so how do I make it so around my waist it’s a little bit more tighter and formfitting But it accommodates my bust lol I don’t know if that makes any sense.

Im doing this pattern right now and am on my second one. CHAIN 2 instead of 3 or else it will kind of curve. And just do your bust measurement, not bigger. I’m pretty skinny and am a C cup so I made it my bust measurement and it’s not too loose around my ribs if that makes sense

i followed your pattern however bc of my chest part being bigger than my waist the mesh part is looser there how can i get it to a tighter fit ? thank uu!!

I was wondering if anyone tried this pattern by making 2 panels instead of one that goes around the waist. I usually end up making them too big when working around.

When I start adding the mesh the top gets wider .. so it’s tight at bottom but it gets wider when it should be the other way round x.x what am I doing wrong

I really like this top but I have a question, because the chain that I made in the beginning fits around my bust but the more I crocheted the part with the gaps it got bigger. So now the first chain is smaller than the part around my bust( only just began) is that normal and it will even out the more I crochet or did I do something wrong? ( I even skipped several stitches )

Started this top but it’s not stretchy at all. I want it to fit my waist but I can’t do that bc if I wanna wear it I have to dislocate my entire uppermost to get in. No hate love, I’m very invested in this top, I just need some help cuz I’m not a pro.

This tutorial is great!!! Just learn from my mistakes, and don’t do more than like half an inch bigger than your bust measurement at the beginning! Also I highly recommend following what she says when she decreases stitches in the solid part of the shirt. :)
