Just got my Ninebot A1 with a single battery and option to add another. Gives me the flexibility depending on the distance I want to travel, with a single battery fixed on, its a little lighter to carry around too.
One thing about the A1 or S2 is that as mentioned in the video, because there is no padding support, the unicycle can get a little wobbly, but this just needs a little getting use to. Get one guys!! It's really fun !!

A stout bungee between handle & waist harness might facilitate easier jumps ... ?

I just watched pt 2.
Ninebot should have added padded concave quick change batteries. (basically similar to E+ but the padded battery cover could have slid down & clicked in to place). This would have sorted range & comfort options as you could carry a spare battery.

Some rubber griptape on the side plastic will help keep scuff damage minimal.

Hey speedy feet, thanks a lot for those videos - I have been looking forward to the S2 a lot, especially due to weight and speed ratios. But very worried about the pads being permanently on cobblestones.

One thing you dont show is riding on one foot. On my previous Solowheel, you can ride on one leg very, very easily. But on the Ninebot One E its very difficult, in fact on my model it pushes so much pressure that I hear something inside is pushing on the wheel... (maybe broken plastic inside? not sure)

All in all still learning to do those jumps although can do a lot of other things :)

I do like the design. The lifting mechanism is very good. Wished they would have add a front and rear light. Good they actually put treats on the foot rests to give your feet more grip. For the jumping part, if it would be me, I would probably add something to the shell so I can hook my feet under it. But that would be me. Lets see about the range. The speed I don't really care about.12-14 miles is well fast enough. Great review Ian.

I think I watched your video years ago riding the segway mini through the warehouse. I got one too and I loved it until I ended up getting on the wrong side of it and it threw me and I broke my hip LOL! I have MS so I needed something for walking larger distances and now I'm afraid to ride that, but a Wheel like this looks much better for me. Which do you think would be the most perfect wheel to keep from falling and just to use as a walking alternative, no tricks/off roading, etc. Not concerned with high speed or too long a range. Just want something easy to carry and i will go no farther than 5 miles at a time. Also easy to ride of course.

When the 9b1 s3 or e+2 for next version or next generation come out this 2017?
s2 need more work on the fast brake it make some loud noise and the beeping i hope software maker can change into option off/ON BEEP very annoying.
