I was a sophomore in high school in 1982 ...my grandmother God rest her soul bought me that year bike 125 off the showroom floor ...best summer ever ....love you grandma... I rode and raced the heck out of it it was my first 125 .... ended up selling it to a friend so I could buy a 84 kx 125 .

My Pops bought me that very bike back in 1984 used from our neighbor he paid $600!! and it was in pristine condition! I went from a TM 75 with no powerband, to that ripper with the YPVS! It was intimidating at first but oh yeah I got used to it 😂 she cooked. Rocked a brand new black Bell moto 3 with yellow graphics no riding boots though, Tennis shoes! Lol

This is the only classic bike I ever had myself. About 10-12 years ago we got it brand new in the original crate. Had it built and rode it maybe 45 mins before selling it to a guy in California.

I raced an 82 YZ 125 J and mine was also very clean and very quick . It gobbled up a lot of newer bikes on the track. ❤❤. Very nice bike

Good old YZ125J. Beautiful music. I'll buy all your 82 YZs, I'll have to owe ya though!. Here in Oz, only the A, B and Cs were Yellow. D's onwards were white until they turned blue. I'd love to have an American yellow YZ.
