Had to pause the video five seconds in to tell you how much I love your hair in this video. Those curls are GORGEOUS.

I didn't know you had kids! I love finding booktubers that are closer to my age (32) and have kids! I find it motivational to see you read as much as you do with kids! I have a 3 and 1 year old and I can only read 2-3 books a month at most!

ETA i love how honest you were in this video! PPD is Such a real and scary thing! I feel like since beoming a SAHM, i feel the loneliness you talked about. Especially in the winter time. Kids are stressful and drain so much of us, it is hard to keep your head above water sometimes.

I also suffered from postpartum depression after having my son. He was a horrific baby, my husband was always working and never home and I felt so so alone. Of course we found out later the reason he was such a horrific baby was because of his autism. I also get having the days where it creeps back and you question everything, especially having a special needs son. When they have bad days, they are BAD days. We just have to remember that we have this and everything will be okay. From one autism mom to another, you’re seen and heard and have support!

i teared up a little! thank you for answering my question! i was terrified afterwards that I may have offended you, but you seem like such a great mom and that you love being a mom that it seemed like something that could have happened in your life. it's one of my biggest fears and honestly the biggest factor as to why i am on the fence about having kids, so hearing you speak so plainly and honestly about it provided some comfort? if that makes sense.
i love this video! you might not think you're calming, but your presence seems so laid back and real that it seems that way here on youtube <3

I have just started watching booktube the last couple months. Your channel is one of my favorites, and I get a chuckle when you try and describe your genres.... You honestly do better than me. I think you sound like your just sitting there talking to a friend....love Gilmore Girls😊. Have a wonderful day. Lorrie

Introvert v extrovert actually isn’t based on your comfort level in talking to people. It’s an indicator of where/how you draw your energy. Introverts need alone time to rejuvenate. Extroverts get energy from being around others. For example, I’m comfortable talking to people, even talking in front of large groups of people. However, it leaves me feeling drained, and I need to be alone in a quiet place to restore myself. As such, I’m an introvert. You could very well be an introvert who has learned to communicate with people because of your career.

My daughter suffered from postpartum depression and it's a real illness. My granddaughter would not nurse for a few months and she felt like a total failure as a mom. It broke my heart. My heart goes out to you❤️

Thanks for opening up so much, it's nice to hear other women talking about their experiences with anxiety and postpartum depression, I don't have children yet but I've seen many women in my family go through this and I don't think we discuss it often enough. Loved the video <3

I was one of the people who said you are calm. I still believe it lol. I also had post partum depression after my second kid and didnt realize it til I was put on an antidepressant for chronic migraine and voila-the world had colour again.

I loved this video, I think you’re such a good, real person
It made me so happy to hear you’re on the Dave Ramsey plan!! My grandpa introduced me to Dave Ramsey about 8 years ago, I read Financial Peace and Total Money Makeover, and re read them every year or two to keep up on it. It’s complwtely changed my life and I no longer have to stress about money
