I loved the speech. My favorite line was "The world is not waiting for us." We don't have time for the infighting. I do not have one more minute for Joe Manchin. Catering to him in public spaces increases his power. We are looking at a time that is very similar to the end of WWII and our window is limited. We need to put some wins on the board. Let's go.

loved the speech. as an unreconstructed liberal lefty in canada, it was good to see a national leader unabashedly portray government as a force for good and transformation. it's not the punchline reagan made it out to be. it reminded us - without being a maudlin trip down memory lane - that once upon a time the world had leaders like fdr through to lbj. people who made things happen.

it was a very subtle though unmistakable finger to the ascendancy of the far-right fringe.
