Don't really like the digital displays, I spend enough time looking at screens and don't really want to when I'm driving my car. Would prefer analog gauges and a screen on the right that you can turn off if you want to.

Extra skins aren’t bad for DLC. If they changed normal features like heated seats then it becomes a problem.

Pay as you go already exists. Subscription services you pay for. When you stop paying they turn off that feature.

Paying for a generic performance tune update might be worth it.

Just another way for car companies to nickel and dime you to death. They will put everything in all the trim lines and if you want a particular feature you have to pay for it. I remember when you could order a car and each option was a standalone item. Then the manufacturers decided to package everything and guess what happened. If you wanted say cruise control you had to buy the package with things in it you might not want. Oh they said but it’s cheaper than buying each item separately. I said not if I only want cruise control. I don’t need deluxe footwell lights and exhaust spritzers and rotating antenna. I don’t need and especially don’t want all this crap to make sure I stay in my lane or autopilot or buzz me if I go to fast or slap me if I doze off. All these things do is make it easier to get distracted instead of focusing on driving. First time I get hit by someone with all this technology I’m suing the manufacturer for allowing their product to distract the driver.

These are optional not required. The car companies saw what happened to bmw with the subscription seats. Buying different clusters or fluff is no different from game dlc or cosmetics. If they keep the pricing reasonable and i really like a DL sure why not.

Ford really needs to look at porsche/ferrari/Lamborghini, these are top tier performance cars with basic gauge cluters and a small screen.. These lap tops on the dash look terrble. Its not needed. The s650 just isnt that good of a car in general

The Tech stuff is cool but it can come with a price. My favorite is the classic gauge cluster. I like the new S650 but it’s a little to much Tech.
