Are you tired of copy pasting data from Excel to Word? What if there would be an easy way to automate generation of NDAs, contracts and agreements? In this solution explained here, all you need is a Microsoft Word document template, Excel sheet, OneDrive and free Make (Integromat) account.
Do you want to generate automated documents? First step is to create a document template in Microsoft Word. Just use one of your standard documents and replace information with curly bracket tags. Next step is to prepare a matching Excel sheet with data that will be used to generate the automated document. To merge Excel data with Microsoft Word document we will use Integromat. With a few simple steps you can have automated document generation happen every time you add a new row to Excel sheet. The document is saved on your OneDrive. From there you can send it out via email.
Here is a video showing how to send out automated emails to email addresses saved in your Excel file:
You can adapt above scenario by adding email sending at the end of the scenario workflow.
This tutorial can easily substitute using PandaDocs, Formstack or DocuSign for document generation. It will not help you with e-lectronic signatures but it will generate ready to sign documents for you. This can be a great cost saving alternative to Formstack or PandaDocs or just a simpler way to test document generation without buying more software.
