Thanks for the video. This worked perfectly. Couldn't find a small enough rod, so I tried to heat and remove the inserts. This damaged one of the bolts. So instead, I cut the old 20-inch bolts down to 16 inches (switched from an old Titan to a new Siege), used the thicker rod to ram out the nock receivers, and didn't need a hammer; the force of the heavier rod was enough to knock out the old nock receivers. The only tricky part was that the air canister needs to be held upside-down as another comment mentioned.

For those people trying to do this. Watch the video, when David turns the compressed air can upside down that is the key to the issue. That when your nock becomes freezing cold.
Pause for 30 seconds letting the nock becoming even colder, then use the hammer. And yes the 1/8" rod works and you can get it through the bolt.
I did 6 in 3 minutes once I when back to watch the video again.

Stuck the arrow in a freezer for a bit. Then take it out and grab the nock with pliers not bushing and pull. Nocks are held in by a bump that seats in the bushing. Nocks are not glued. The bushing is. They come right out. If you have a sheared one just take a tiny drill bit and drill a little bit in the center of the plastic. Then take a drywall screw and turn it into the hole then pull. They come right out. Most of the time without freezing. I had the misconception that the nocks themselves were glued and they are not. Just the bushings. Be stupid glueing the nocks because they break fairly often if you’re shooting a tight group. Getting that glue out would be a headache

I have done many and ones I have pulled are newer arrows and no glue. The bushing is. They come right out. If you have a sheared one just take a tiny drill bit and drill a little bit in the center of the plastic. Then take a drywall screw and turn it into the hole by hand then pull. Do not screw in with a power tool. The drywall screw fits nicely by hand pressure. They come right out. Most of the time without freezing. This does not work for me. The insert at the point end is solid! The 1/8" inch steel rod will not go through. Now what?

is it same process to get the yellow ones out, for lighted nocks

The ONLY method that worked for is heat, the new ten points bolts has aluminum bushing that is super glued, ONLY heat can losen the glue...

Just stick the arrow in a freezer for a bit and skip all this compressed air nonsense. Freezer works perfectly
